(Anguish)

We are gasping
at the silence,
the strings
ceased to vibrate

We are lost, we are lost

In the emptiness
we have flashes,
and then your there
within us again
for just a sliver
of time

Your absolute joy
of amazing rhythm
still lives on breathing
new life in memory

(Celebration)

In the thousand sighs of sorrow
that have rippled from our lips,
when the pain has hooked his anchor
and when our hearts just cannot sleep?

Know the stars continue to shine
his joy and love will never cease,
the moon lays down tomorrow
so that we may find loves peace

For in the twinkle of his eyes
his essence of laughter shone,
his intentions never wavered
they shone bright as the sun

As eternity kisses his lips
and the lilies begin to weep,
know he is just there waiting
for us to join him in sleep

I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Last few words: 
I lost a friend who was like a little brother that I never had he was full of joy but he battled his demons, and in the end he took his own life ... but he was good he was just and he had integrity he could make me smile when I thought I would never smile again, and when I went crazy mad he didn't care he loved me just the same, for me tonight after laying him to rest I felt the need to be here with all my friends at Neo is been a really sad time I needed to come and share the full version of his poem ,,, I only shared the last four Stanza's with the congregation and I felt the first part well it was just too raw and I wanted to leave a nice image to think of at the end of the poem ... I think this maybe the longest last few words I have ever written ,,, so be it I needed to vent, I needed to read poetry that can soothe my soul and ease my pain in some small way, thank you for being well, you :) love to all always and forever Jayne x

but to say the piece was built on infrastructure of the deceased, this makes it more memorable but i console with thee..find me your friend as one gone, but in me born

you are being too kind and liberal in your comment...you would never say i am accomplished if you knew half of the troubles i am finding with my understanding of stressed / accented and unstressed / unaccented syllables...:) ...
