THERE LIES THE FUTURE

"THERE LIES THE FUTURE"
Margaret Ann Waddicor 22nd January 2011.

There lies ahead the latent
yet unsaid,
those things that still we know not of,
Some dire and painful, sad,
some full of hope and joy,
as all life coloured so by time
its unseen ploy,
is driven on relentlessly.

We have no choice,
we use our voice, our head,
our bodies move,
through patterns ever changing,
as we grow a little heavier each year,
and at the same time lighter than before,
its up to us the how,
the if's can be a yes or no.

As blindly guiding our frail frames,
through summers, winters, fall,
our spring comes up once more,
to spice the day,
be it with visions, good decisions,
creative ploys,
we make this life, just ours.

The mind inspires,
it takes us gently, bold,
to pick us up yet once again
before we're old.

Glad of your mentioning this, readable and interesting too,
two good things, and I am happy it makes you say so,
thank you Lonnie.

Sweet Rosina,

Yours is your mind to steer, and if its bogged down with
chemical disrupt; if you recognise it as such, and take command,
one feels that one could just tip the mountain top
and flow like a river down the other side where happiness and joy reign,
where safe trust is found and things of beauty soothe your thoughts.

If I am totally ignorant of the what and why,
forgive my ignorance and try to see my mountain,
its worth the climb whatever ails one,
however frail one can still climb this one.

I love mountains perhaps because of their greatness
and the way they make us feel at once great,
and at the same time so small.

I hope I give you a little of the strength to do so,
with all my heart, With my love Ann.

would we truly wish to know
the good or often bad
all the good we've yet to grow
or even the sad.................oops there you go inspiring me lol..........scribbler

Oh wouldn't we oh wouldn't we
just wish to know it all,
and yet then there would be
but little to enthral.

Takk Scribbler from Ann with love,
Glad to inspire.

lifes journey, summers, winters, filled with the spice of good decisions, creative ploys, we make life just ours.

Your poetry is always inspiring and thought provoking.
Excellent poem Ann, I thoroughly enjoyed reading.

Love Mand xxxxx

Sometimes it is to me too Mand, I am surprised by my own mind
to seeing into the web that hangs there in my attic, latent, waiting to
be spun into a poem, all the world is our consciousness and what
our minds make of it.

Love to feel I inspire and give enjoyment, love you too Mand.
Ann.

I was pleased you came with a change and it
was for the better I agree, dear Jayne.

My mind spills it out and then perhaps gets stuck in
the old pattern it first produced not always seeing
outside it to better ways of expression.

Pleased you liked it love Ann XX
