Their Nape

Never trust strangers
And
never believe a word,
Of what those who
Can’t look into your eyes say.

Showing ones rear,
Is a facet of indignation.
To the machinations of such folks,
Never fall prey.
This Loved doth say

The more gullible (I'm one) ought to keep this in mind.

I don't get the title though, and how it relates to the poem. And the first line, was the title mistakenly repeated?

Nice, short write:

"To the machinations of such folks,
Never fall prey.
This Loved doth say"

This poem is based
on newspapers editors
who print their necks
and don't show their faces
to the public

I thought it as highly unbecoming
and indignant
hence the title .

Also this poem on another site
has so many reads
here apart from you,
I wonder if anyone else will scan ..

Thanks to you
for your maiden help and discern
I have amended it

I think this should have gone into the "last few words" section. Either way, I never knew of newspaper editors hiding their faces. However, I liked the poem anyway.

Thanks for the clarification...
