Tea Leaves

What's on
My beautiful mind today?

Divorce, Cancer
And the prospect
Of losing my beloved job
I'll make myself
A nice cup of tea

That's what I'll do...

Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Last few words:
Ok, So I may be exaggerating about Divorce but I hope I have captured real life in this, all in a day's work. Ps and of course the British always go to the tea pot when they need comfort. But I wouldn't be able to read the tea leaves really Maybe a trip.down to the cellar would be more effective...

Hi, Teddy!
I hope the theme here is "in general" and these heartaches are not personally yours. Truly. With that, I feel that your poem hits the spot - a bit of soothing sarcasm mixed in with a sincere attempt to comfort yourself with a cup of tea. I haven't a clue how to read tea leaves, but I like the feel of your very determined ending.
Thank you, Teddy!

You absolutely got it. A bit of reality sometimes, I guess sometimes I forget I'm British, some Italians are quite dramatic but I always say
(have a nice cup of tea dear) lol thanks for reading as always it's a pleasure to share my poems with you. X

Thank you...Teddy
