SUNLIGHT WANING

STARLIGHT WANING

Stars of crystal dimly burning.
a full moon of radiance pale
darken m y way to places unknown.
the world is dying and I follow.
my mind pursues its dreams
but suffers for what it sees,
how sad it is to be…..

Spread your wings.
If they are broken, my friend
let me lift you to the sky
to find the place sorrow meets its end
where sadness is cast aside,
replaced by the brilliant colors of joy
in the eternal embrace of peace
that will set your hears burden at ease.
Death is not the end of life,
it is the doorway to a new world
this is the world where we strive,
that is where yu find out if you excel.

I know you feel sad and you are in pain, my friend. I see it in your recent poems and I wish you will be fine. If I can take away your pain for a moment, I would. There lies another world beyond this. Be strong, my friend. Good write.

Death is not the end of life,
it is the doorway to a new world ..........

I know because my religion tells me so. I believe Joe, as a Christian believes in that world too. The messages are in our holy books. Does that answers your question?

Believe what you will but don't attack other's belief just because you don't agree with it. I am talking to Joe as a man of faith to another to lift his spirit as a friend. I don't see what is wrong with that.

I tend to have seen many in life
go out fighting
taking what they can along the way
some miserable
wailing they have done much
in truth they wish they had more
arms ..more mouths..more pockets
when in truth their souls
(if any)
will never be touched with the kindness
and giving over the years of their life
on earth..whom they have touched
with their teaching and message
guidance

I would rather go with a sad
affinity...for all goodbyes are sad
empathic souls feel
and I am one..
Why this poem touched me
excellent Poem
endings are always hard!

Thank You Joe!

Your Friend Steven!

A beautiful poem Joe, but leaves me sad and mournful. I wish your great mind, was not hampered by a failing body, but sadly I don't think wishing will fix it.
I think of you often, Jxx
