Spirit of a Poet

I’d like to roam the cobbled streets of Dublin,
and cross the Ha’penny Bridge

I want to meet the spirit of Oscar Wilde,
Who very wisely said this,

“We are all in the gutter,
but some of us are looking at the stars”

and from my gutter,
I just had to look up…

Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Review Request (Direction):
What did you think of my title?
Last few words:
Quote by OSCAR WILDE. “We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars”

One of my favorite characters, he was a "larger than life" person who didn't care much about what people thought of him and even less about conventionalism. I like the brevity and yet the depth of his statement. It doesn't surprise me that you are an admirer of good ol' Oscar. ~ Geez.

Honest critique and comments shouldn't hurt.
It's why we are here, to get better at our craft.

I adore his quotes all of them,

This one is one of my favourites too.

Always forgive your enemies - nothing annoys them so much. How true!

Thank you...Teddy
