Sonnet 41 ~to her “Playful” Toe~

For heavens sake, now you have crossed the line!
Remove your foot, this is not quite the time
For playing footsy; girl! you’re out of line
And your demeanor fails to ring my chime!
Right now, I feel that a decision I should make,
Which only means that distance we must keep,
Lest there be cause for us to stay awake
And deprive us of our righteous sleep.
There shan’t be games of which you seem so fond;
That playing “footsy beneath the table game,”
Which can only lead to an erotic bond,
And then, to guilt and even utter shame.
***** Be gone you toe, so sensuously unclad,
***** My own big toes are spoken for, I’d add.

Toes are erotic? lol not to me but to some yes. A sonnet about toes, well I've only to bow! A very very fun sonnet on the subject of where toes may find themselves.

Thank you...Teddy

and there I thought my latest attempt at erotica would cause you to swoon--or at least drool with passion, but, once again, I had the sight of my buffalo rifle set a trifle too much to the left, (allowing for wind shift). Don't mind me, Teddy; I'll be just peachy-dandy fine after another cup of coffee. My condition will clear up--I promise, lol. Thanks for reading my latest s..s.. s.. sonnet, dear lady.

well, that explains your sense of humor and outgoing personality. Libras!! You are a wonderful correspondent as well, and Lynda does no begrudge me the time I spend with you on this site. In fact, she had to laugh at some of the silliness we are engaged in. She imagined you being tickled pink by my silly verses, lol. Your birthday is next week? Good; that gives me a chance to compose a poem for you. Lynda and I just bought some potted Geraniums, and we will name them: Contessa Teddy, for we give all our plants names. Take care of yourself, dear. Jerry
