Sisiphus and Me

SISYPHUS AND ME

Like Sisyphus
I roll that stone
all alone
every minute
of every day
and night
I fight
to push that rock
up that hill
until
it rolls down
again.

I've lost my hopes
and I sleep no
dreams.
They say it is
for some sin
against Him.
It is God's will
I've been told
still
but I choose to do the deed
until Kingdom Come
see it through
and I'll be done

This seems to put the blame for everything onto you, our pushing of the boulder up the hill and it running back down and thinking that it is your God that is punishing you.
If I had such a God I would tell him where to go no matter how much damnation he shoves at me.
Are you so bad that this is your think on a punishment for all your deeds.
I believe that you judge yourself in the end and then join the like souls of the other side.
If you have gained knowledge and been a good lad you will enhance your spirit to the next level, if you have been a bad boy and I cant see that, you will sink lower in the scheme of things to like souls.
A murderer sinks to be with like souls to wander among murderers and like, they cannot call the ones on the higher level but they can come and visit him.
Yu may ask where a priest goes that mistreats children well he will be there amongst those other heavy souls that are the same.
Your God will never do you wrong it is your responsibility to make sure you improve your soul by being a good person.. Here endeth the first lesson.
Take care young Joe and know that you are a good man and you just chose hard lessons to learn, the lady in the corn field is gathering food for you, and in their now they are preparing a great party.
Yours as always Ian..

Ian, you haven't raised RC in an Italian family where the finest work of at was a painting of souls in purgatory. I didn''t have a chance of a snow ball In hell.

thanks, Ian

You now have a free mind to rectify all the things that you don't like about all things.
I use to go to church each Sunday as a young boy and I am sorry that your Italian upbringing was so severe, in the end of times for your journey here it wont make any difference what you are or what you have been subject to. There in that now you will be all the things you have always wanted to be and the world that greets you will know that you are a good man, therefore there is no need to fear that change which we all must make, no matter who or what you are.
Don't let a painting from someone else's fear drag at your ways or make you fear another now.
I have a sister who is Catholic, and my Brother was, but he has journeyed on.
I know that your beliefs are strong and will not change but please never fear, how you can be afraid to meet your God I don't know, he will be there with unconditional love so I cannot see the worry.
I will this once ask of the children, or rather Sister Teresa to be there for you, I know you are not allowed to talk or discus the other side, it is against your following, but I can be as I like, because I am allowed.
Joe you take care and let the worries flow away as you write, and let some light into that shadow land you have made, I will talk again later so meanwhile go well and God bless you, Yours Ian..
