Second Date

At the annual run in The City,
tortillas were pelting everyone, an eccentric tradition
Your Batgirl costume was unexpected

At the end of the course
bands were setting up on stage
With so many people around us,
our disguises were elsewhere
by then, no longer needed

Hi, Michael,
I looked up the Bay-to-Breakers Race - extreme fun! Have a blast if you go this year! So...quite the second date. :) Can't help but wonder what the third date was like, or if you remain forever on the second. This makes me smile.
Thank you,
L

Still together! Thanks L!

I hope there have been many more dates since this one. I’ll check out the event for certain. I can tell by the way you write that this person (your partner) is very special to you. This matter of fact recollection of a tender memory is exactly the type of stuff a romantic like myself is drawn too.

Tim

Appreciate you sharing your thoughts here Tim, thank you!

Best
