In Search Of Nothingness

If It was you, then it wasn’t true
I loved your every bone
I know it’s hard to comprehend
but in the end, it hurt to let you go
I can’t believe we’re not together as one
and even after, twenty-five years
I still look you up
and to my joy
I find nothing.

Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Last few words:
First Love, as first love is so intense you think that this person will be the one for the rest of eternity, you can see no flaws my experience was with a lad 10 years older and he was a Shit. But still I was in love until I could finally see and even though I knew he was the worst sort of person It hurt to say goodbye. It seemed to actually make my heart ache physically when I finally let go, however it was worth the pain if not just to learn. I do love the fact I had this experience because it brought me to where I am today. I used to tell him I’d write a book about those days so here it is, a very small poem, says it all really.

it's sad but true, nice guys seem to nearly always score last, and that truism applies to girls as well. It must have something to do with Darwin' s Law. Aggressive guys on motorcycles pick up the greatest chicks, use them and throw them away. But those rejects get another chance with more timid fellows--like me. I traveled to the Virgin Island and plucked me a recycled cutie. Joking; mother-in-law raised Lynda proper, I did not have to go to the Virgin Islands--not even for a bottle of olive oil Extra Virgin. Hey, Teddy nice write on your part. Jerry

LOL. Always find your reviews to my delight. But do you ever look on social media for old loves?
Sometimes I do, I guess curiosity is one of the lesser sins lol

Thank you...Teddy

if I did, lol. Besides, they all would be over the Hill, age-wise, if nod dead. Now here is a writing project: moldering Sue climbing out of the grave just to say hello to her former lover Jerry. (For heaven's sake, Sue! Couldn't you have put some lipstick on?)
No, Teddy, I have no desire to "dig up" dead relationships. LOL. Jerry

So this was my first true love and he was the worst of people. But sometimes out of curiosity I do look him up on Google I have never found so much as a crud. I won't look any more.
Thanks for the visit. Big hugs
But may I say I really really enjoyed writing this.

Thank you...Teddy
