Saved

Body shaking violently
Tears flooding my vision
Knees lock in place
Fist clenched at my side
Sobs ripped out of my chest

No longer have a heart
It’s splintered and gone,
along with my sanity

Insomnia attacks
Depression appears
Suffering begins
Suicidal thoughts

Your vindictive smile
Sends me running
I used to be strong
I should have fought
I believed your lies
Threw my life away
Forced my hand
It needs to end

He finds me before
I complete the note
Pulls me close
Promises to never let go
Baby blue eyes,
swimming in tears
as he sees what I’ve planned

My life line holds me here
Suicide no more
No longer running
Stand up and fight
I’m staying
Facing my fears

He’ll be there
Just holding me
firmly in place

Thank you god
for giving me
my second chance

i DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT YOU. BUT THIS SEEM TO HAVE BEEN WRITTEN FROM TRUE ANGER THAT COMES FROM SOMEONE YOU CARE ABOUT LYING TO YOU. i KNOW HOW THAT FEELS.
i UNDERSTAND THE MOTIVATION, BUT i HEAR NO REAL RYTHM TO THS.. LOOK IT OVER WHEN THE ANGER HAS SUBSIDED. i DO BELIEVE THAT THIS CAN BE SOMETHING GREAT., BECAUSE i FEEL THE EMOTION IN IT AND TO ME THAT;S WHERE i WRITE FROM.

PS. IT'S ONLY MY OPINION, NOT MY POEM.

LIFE ISN'T ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORM TO PASS
IT'S ABOUT LEARNING HOW TO DANCE IN THE RAIN.

Thank you all. It's incredible to be back and i'll take all your suggestions to heart.
