Satori

I sat staring at the wide open spaces,
Leafing through my tears and fears,
Seeing I was a part of, and above
All that would slay me.

But then a small child passed
And asked, as a child will ask,
"Who is that Mummy?"

A satori had seized me
An instantaneous jump.
I was pulled, whole minded,
Into the purity of innocence.

And released into that world
I rose on a cloud of pure bliss.

Hi, tyro,
Providence in the present moment. It's not often we read or write poetry about pure joy - very inspiring.
Thank you,

Hello tyro, lovely poem. I relate to that childlike innocence, all too soon lost. But there is bliss, as you so deftly end your poem.
Thank you, Gracy

Hi Gracy, I was trying to express an idea, a feeling.

I thought I've lost all my friends at the queen's tables. Finding you here lifted up my spirits. I definitely looking forward to reading more of your thoughtful works.

Hi dear Rula its a pleasure to hear from you. The innate goodness you always projected, I find very inspirational.

Have you seen that the table is no more and the site up for sale?
