Sailing Into Nothingness (January Contest)

As I sail upon my very own Vessel
On this, the vicious tempestuous
And boundless Sea

With my very delicate dreams
That are unfulfilled
Deep within my dying heart
Dreams of mine,
That could never come true

It makes me wonder
If the Mast breaks
On this magnificent ship
Would anything really change at all?

Could I possibly sail
Off into a breathtaking Sunset?

Or drown in these
The starving waves
That I call life?

This is really thought-provoking, in such a way as to make one travel round the circumference of the earth in search of meanings to imponderable matters, agencies, forces, and more. Thanks for this great piece.

Bathe yourself with poetry and let the world go to pieces.

You might consider playing around with the stanza breaks to improve the chain of thought. Other than that this is excellent

Do you mean like this?
Thank you.

I agree with Chima that this is quite thought-provoking, and as always, the imagery is fantastic! Amazing job. :)
