THE ROSE

THE ROSE

the petals cling to the Rose
as one by one they fall
pale is the color of red.
languid the kiss
lost the velvet touch
sad is the fading bliss

You ignore the author and tout your own work! How dare you? Joe is trying to express the emotions that have kept him going and us reading and you take his meanings and make them your own! This is the most disgraceful thing I have ever seen here! ~ Geezer.

This must be the place, 'cause there ain't no place like this place anywhere near this place.

I'm not trying to ignore him i'm just making a conversation and don't forget that the poem I put here is inspired by his work and I'm telling him and loved about my journey simply because he IS one of the poets here who inspire me the most here. Its not a disrespect but it IS respect! How do you think I could go on writing if I don't have people like him who inspire me all the way? I admire him, I respect him and I honor him. Why do you think I will write poems as tribute and dedication to him and Jayne? You tell me why. Fine, if you think this is disgraceful Ill just take them away! In the first place, I don't even mean to do anything like that!

but it just seemed like you could have carried on your conversation with Lovedly in private messages or something. You want to post a poem in praise of Joe, use your space. I don't think you intentionally slighted Joe, I think you were just carried away in the moment. No excuses for me blowing up like that. ~ Gee

Sorry if I disrespect you in any way, Joe
