Religiosity of Religion

Religiosity of Religion

This is neither
A poem nor is it prose
But a combination
I suppose
Let’s see how it goes.

The oldest religion was
Lord’s Krishna’s
Where he had specified
That he was Time
The sun was God
So Time is God.

Also Lord Rama gave
A sample of equality and love
To ones family
Obeisance to the elderly
Justice in reality
Even to ones very own family

Next came Lord Buddha
In search of salvation
Married to wealth and child
He left in search of meditation
Then finally he ruled
Mediation, Knowledge and Application
Was all there is to solve
This life’s mysterious situations
Let’s not bow to stones or statues!
For lamentation

About two thousand years ago,
The scientific man was to emerge,
When for seventeen millennia
He was kept submerged
Lord Jesus Christ
Gave out his invaluable commandment,
‘Love thy neighbour as thy self,
For if you have one,
He alone will come
To thy help’

‘Allah Ko Karo Salaam
Salute Allah only, says Islam
Behave like an insaan:
Yes a man!
Pray five times, exercise;
Rest your bodily system
During Ramadan
But marry only four wives
One at a time
For a balanced life

Lastly came Sikhism
Some five hundred years ago
The tenets are absolutely simple
‘Raaj Karega Khalsa
Akhir Rahe Na Koey!
Only the righteous shall rule
When all does end

Emerges the Era of scientology
Darwin returns with heredity
With all kinds of sexuality,
As computers reign supreme
Another religion one of extreme
Shall be germinated
Yes then man wouldn’t know
After creating artificial intelligence
How to stop annihilation
That will be the return
Of the once upon dynasores
Human race will become extinct
Alas! Once more

Solar energy will again induce
A cyclic race
It shall have to produce
Better knowledge oriented race,
Than one has ever imagined before
But all religiosity
Will continue to remain
Integrated,
Nay cemented as usual for sure!
