religion, science and God!

science, religion and God
we all are entitled to our views,
though evolution,
as a part of science can't be overruled,
it is as much essential
to keep integrated
and
as human beings,
we all can't do away
with God
nor Religion

nor do I want to be isolated
I respect all religions equally,
so no one can call me
an atheist nor irreligious,
nor only scientific
a juggler of
science and religion
perhaps I may be

The more we learn about the Universe the more we learn about God. A beggar in the street can be as wise as the most far famed prophessor. An interesting piece thanks for sharing. John

Logic rules..some things can be explained...some can't. Some rely totally on faith...some on fact. I totally agree with you. Tis a mix of the two and somewhere out there all the answers lie. Only the right time, the right place will one day reveal all to us.
Lovely write.
As most poems on the subject of creation/religion, this one gives the reader reasons to ponder and think. I always like that in a poem.
Always,

I Always Wonder
Why we all wander
As you to now wonder
I must certainly
Have to ponder,
No wonder
Religion and Science
Go hand in hand
Then twas

Imagination

With only religion,

Now with addition of inventions
Scientific intervention
It’s a matter for consideration
We can't live on bread alone,
As now is an era of

Perception

In which we all roam.

Tomorrow perhaps
Science and God
Shall make merry
The future will have to tarry
That will be an era of

Conceptualisation

Into the far folds
Of universal creation

Till then let’s play a game
Of ring- a- ring- a roses
Religion and science
Future life proposes
As in the universal
Time of eternity
Our wisdom to aliens
We do suppose
Yes disclose.
So be it

For me, the more I know, the more I know that I don't know much. This mystery of life.....of God... the science of evolutionary thought/thinking perhaps.

Loved, you have evolved into a distinguished poet. ;-)

I offer this last line spoken by Bill Maher in *RELIGULOUS*

"The irony of religion is that because of its power to divert man to destructive courses, the world could actually come to an end. The plain fact is, religion must die for mankind to live. The hour is getting very late to be able to indulge in having in key decisions made by religious people. By irrationalists, by those who would steer the ship of state not by a compass, but by the equivalent of reading the entrails of a chicken. George Bush prayed a lot about Iraq, but he didn't learn a lot about it. Faith means making a virtue out of not thinking. It's nothing to brag about. And those who preach faith, and enable and elevate it are intellectual slaveholders, keeping mankind in a bondage to fantasy and nonsense that has spawned and justified so much lunacy and destruction. Religion is dangerous because it allows human beings who don't have all the answers to think that they do. Most people would think it's wonderful when someone says, "I'm willing, Lord! I'll do whatever you want me to do!" Except that since there are no gods actually talking to us, that void is filled in by people with their own corruptions and limitations and agendas. And anyone who tells you they know, they just know what happens when you die, I promise you, you don't. How can I be so sure? Because I don't know, and you do not possess mental powers that I do not. The only appropriate attitude for man to have about the big questions is not the arrogant certitude that is the hallmark of religion, but doubt. Doubt is humble, and that's what man needs to be, considering that human history is just a litany of getting shit dead wrong. This is why rational people, anti-religionists, must end their timidity and come out of the closet and assert themselves. And those who consider themselves only moderately religious really need to look in the mirror and realize that the solace and comfort that religion brings you actually comes at a terrible price. If you belonged to a political party or a social club that was tied to as much bigotry, misogyny, homophobia, violence, and sheer ignorance as religion is, you'd resign in protest. To do otherwise is to be an enabler, a mafia wife, for the true devils of extremism that draw their legitimacy from the billions of their fellow travelers. If the world does come to an end here, or wherever, or if it limps into the future, decimated by the effects of religion-inspired nuclear terrorism, let's remember what the real problem was that we learned how to precipitate mass death before we got past the neurological disorder of wishing for it. That's it. Grow up or die. "

That was interesting and enjoyable. It is quite correct that we are all entitled to our views. Evolution though is not science but a theory. It has yet to be irrevocably proven by scientific fact over scientific speculation. Then it will move on to the Principle of Evolution, then after that the Law of Evolution. We should not get ahead of ourselves and generalise too quickly. Of one thing I am sure, one day we shall all attain the plain and irrefutable truth to it all. What a grand day that would be!

Within the constraints
And
Imaginations permissible

Each one has a mind of ones own

Even Stephen Hawking
The present day's scientific wizzard
Hath summarised

That if there was a God
To create a creation
Why did he do so?
The way he did?
And
Then who created him?

This is in consonance with my original theory

''....AND GOD IS BUT A CREATION OF THE HUMAN MIND...''

Stephen is more renowned
And he adds

Some day
Science will prove
That creation was natural
Perhaps the 13.5 billion years ago
BANG, BANG, BANG
Did happen
God bless you.
