cleaner by far than the back doors of power

It really has that Woodie Guthrie, Pete Seeger kinda feel to it. I dig it.

how I feel about the world of politics. Woody and Arlo, both had a real feel for the heart of the common man and wrote to accommodate it. Nice job by someone who doesn't often visit that dirty world of hidden, back-door politics! ~ Geezer.

This must be the place, 'cause there ain't no place like this place anywhere near this place.

Thanks Geez! Politics is a very messy affair these days, so the dirt analogy seemed fitting.

A moving peaceful protest in your wonderful distinctive poetry style.
Thank you!

Very uncertain writing territory for me L. This seemed to be a decent effort based on the responses.
