PROMISE

PROMISE

If you should go before I do,
wait for me, I will soon be
with you … my soul could not endure
the pain , and I will pray my heart
to cease its pointless beating
I will follow the foot steps
you leave behind until I hear
you call my name ; then we will be
together again,

haunted and poignant
was on the trails this eve
near dusk
a most exciting time
Bears...wolves..coyotes
creepy people at that time
of night....
but we didnt see a soul
I could sense things up
there...
I do not think we are alone
though we feel it at times
Friend of mine has purchased
their plot and got a tour of
the crematorium
They are happy everything is
settled..they have Parkinsons
I would want for a trail to be
ongoing
knowing that I am not the first
nor shall be the last

Thank U Joe for your writing!

Mr Esker!

There is a comfort here, even though the subject is painful and sad.
