PRAYER ASSIGNMENT TO CONQUER

When it is good for you
Won’t we have to share it?
Who ever disturbed you
Know we are affected too
In the good name of Him
Whom we bow to worship
I rebuke laziness
Stubbornness and ill luck
I rebuke the restless spirit

Men went on hunting spree
Women kept the home safe
What went wrong in the bush
when man fails to benefit
From fruits of his labour
Should home be forgotten?
I rebuke unsteady mind
Shatter impediment
Set on your pathway way

With these keys I unlock
Doors closed against progress
I unlock doors in front
Walk through, possess your wealth
Come with healthy returns
Be useful to people
On your sides I unlock
Your freedom and your right
To existence and to live
And in all above else
Your mission to fulfill

I remove all the bolts
Knots, padlocks and tethers
Placed on your entrances
Against what you have built
I break the mirror used
In seeing your movement
Everywhere you go to
In whatever you do
I shatter this mirror
Used in watching your trial
To harm you before you know of it

In His name
I release the powers
to overcome, subdue
All attacks and battles
I, son of my father
Born for a fine mission
On a day the sun shine
And a competing rain
Struggle to rule the hour
And lioness gave birth
Under the African oil bean tree

I throw away the keys,
Broken mirrors
Into gutter
Into a heap of refuse
And into the sea
Let ill luck, headache
And stomach pains be gone

Let hot temper go
At this moment
Of redemption
From damnation
Let all be gone
Let everything come out of it
As the strainer with water
Let evil go

In tongues
I must speak
To confuse the devil
with heavenly language of grace

Yah-a-jah
Etete,
Ibit Itam
Inokon
Itina, Iman
Akwa Abasi Ibom
Shara-ba mama
Yeri baba kan-du

In the name of Him whom I worship
Let peace be granted.
Amen.

Review Request (Direction):
What did you think of my title?
How was my language use?
What did you think of the rhythm or pattern or pacing?
How does this theme appeal to you?
How was the beginning/ending of the poem?
Is the internal logic consistent?

Well written. I understand what you are saying. Tall order for one to save mankind, but it we all worked together. Speaking in tongues. Yes. I do not believe I have seen tongues written down before. Only hear it spoken. I wish for the gift of interpretation

In your last stanza I would make the h in Him a capital H. second line, second stanza "safe"
as usual I enjoy reading your works

He who conquers self , has won a great battle

It is just an attempt to capture a typical modern day fire brand prayer with most of the components excluding the aspect that says 'fire' should burn the 'enemy'. I do not know them, they may as well be dead and gone each time I make progress. More so, the good book tells us about forgiveness. The so called enemy should live and come to repentance.

Thank you for the comments, best wishes.
