NIGHT SHADOWS
NIGHT SHADOWS
The Night brings a special silence
that quiets the strident noise of day
painful to a tired soul and dying spirit.
I look to the mysteries that the darkness holds
with eyes not blinded by the cacophony
of living.
There is a mystery in Night's darkness
a truth we seek but rarely see.
there is a calm in Night's shadows
that steadies the mind and opens the heart
to other possibilities of existence.

Once again a great write and well received,
One line to me didn't ring true where the Spirit is dying.
The Spirit lives always e'n to your last breath and beyond, this is in all religions and philosophies, and I don't think it is man's thoughts, but that part of the universe that lives for ever..
