A New World

Give me the world. As it's, give it to me.
Dark and fast into the abyss falling,
Broken and torn apart; for around me hearts hardening,
Give it to me with its breath in war choking,
With its paths and fields in red blood drowning.
Yea, give it to me, for a minute, or two! It's decaying.

For I've seen not long ago a vision, a dream,
Rings a bell, the world all over to make again.
For in the dark it swims of its past,
Its soul burning like a fallen furnace,
Too hot for a beauty, away fading as dry leaves in autumn.
And all I see between wind and water a world.

But this fire, a torching, beyond a new day, a burst of sunshine;
A new earth bears my vision. In which
Petals of roses the ground carpet in light reddish,
In silvery droplets upon the earth, the rain falls,
In gentle hope rise the sun across the sky;
And the wind like a song boundless peace blows.

So, give me the world, just as it's, fainting,
With its bones shattered and away wasting,
Let me breathe life into its soul unending,
Its paralyzed heart with balsam of love reviving,
And the stench of its mouth out blot sweet myrrh smelling.
So give me the world, and I shall give it back anew.

much like a prayer. I like the even tone
and the vision. First line: Use,[ it is] instead of the contraction [it's] ~ Geez.
