MOVING ON

MOVING ON

loved ones move on
and friendships die
life is a river raging in Time
and all is swept away.
gone are the voices
that filled a painful void
and memories no longer
soothe our loneliness.
a sudden moment changes
the day and we no longer
see things the same way
and what we lost we know
we will never regain.

This is a sad poem. Nothing here last forever. Lives can change in a mere seconds because of the choices we make. Some people come and go but you know what, there are also some who stay as long as they can. You know I'll be here too, my friend. Good write.

Life is like a River

The Thames Hudson Mississippi Lawrence Amazon Nile Ganges Jumuna and Brahmaputra
all move on so does like wise man nothing strange about it we finally merge with the ocean of time in the cosmos eternity infinity and wilderness all meet at one point some time as also souls if any of human kind but that is only known to Divine so you keep on penning poetry indelibly all still read thee Joe at least I do

what exists in between are the rewards of
service
and unbearable inevitable
Still ejoying these painful days
with U and your great writes
and observation of The Process!
Sat with a few in the winter of
their days..crackling fireplace
lungs shot..a prospector
hard to the core and run off
everyone..Enjoyed the time
im pretty gnarly so there wont
be many unless I go fast
a bummer when your support
goes ahead of U..
friends and contacts we let
close like that!

Thank U Geremia!
