AT THE MERCY.....

It is sad to see youth ravaged by time
and a mind lost to the world
and to itself.
We are at the mercy of gravity
which pulls us forever downward
closer to the soil that will feed
on the flesh which defines us
as the winds tear at the earth.

There will soon be nothing
left of me
for no seed will follow.
I will exist for a time in memory
and the part of me
that still lives
will find another way.

I am astounded and very happy to know that I had some impact on another's life. I gave up writing many times for lack of interest,

Thank you, Joan. Thank you for reading me and taking the time out to comment... I rarely comment, as much as I would like to; however, it is getting near impossible to write. I usually wait for the dopamine to "free my hands" but it doesn't last long anymore, and, if I can,, I will dictate my poems to a friend or "willing" neighbor,

Out there not in this life as hard as it may be, or seem to be, is a place where we no longer need a physical being but with the energy we will be able to transform into our own state.
There we will mingle with like souls and have the ability to meet others we know, in doing so we will take on a form that they know us by, but even that is not needed, because you will be home.

Celebrate your life and when we meet you will be able to relate in split seconds all you are and have done.
You have in my eyes been advancing your Soul nearer to perfection with all the things you have done.
Now relay to others as you have to Gee, I see you are going to ask someone to write up your poetry they have been waiting in the great scheme of things to do these tasks which they will carry out with a joy of being able to help another.
We have many tasks young Joe, and that you need help to add to your letting others know is noted and being sorted, go well and will talk to you as your other words will flow and help,
