Melody and Harmony

Melody and Harmony

Her name is Melody
She sings with beautiful Harmony,
with nature and all things
created under the heavens.

You can see and hear them
in the wind
as a solemn hymn whispering
through the trees.
She plays with their leaves
making them dance to their musing.

You can hear them in a babbling brook
as they play their instruments
of rocks and water.
It’s a soothing and gentle sound.
Enough for a troubled soul.

You can hear them in a forest glade,
though silence is their resting place.
Solitude among the forests inner soul.
Here they rest from a hard days work
and tomorrow they’ll sing another hymn.

Melody and Harmony,
singing peace through God’s own love.
Reminding us He is the creator
of all things we have come to know.

With His love He gives us
a place to call home.
Though this is just a temporary place,
through our faith to guide us back to Him.

Oh Father, we thank Thee,
for Your hymns of beauty and grace
that speak of Thee
when we are on our knees.

Melody and Harmony,
we listen with our soul.

usually they make me...
im a type a personality
so i go when the spring run off in our winterland
is roaring over and about the cataract
i can feel the thunder and crash of it..
an enlivening of me

this is a methodical roll of word use
and i enjoyed your poem
