LUCIFER

LUCIFER

Across a dark and brooding sky
in winged flight , he fell, the Favorite
of God’s kingdom, the Bearer of Light,
and like a shooting star streaks of fire
betrayed EVIL’S coming .
Man lost his innocence . And the Soul
shuddered in fear

Now I know how Lucifer fell from heaven to earth. I have seen many, many shooting stars. Glad to know that these are not all Lucifers. But, I incline to believe that man lost of innocence is more of a function of the hormones than that of Lucifer! LOL. I will need to study more.

of God's kingdom, strong claim indeed. Maybe a favorite might be more appropriate if we are not to forget Jesus.

This refers to the rebellion of the angels before the birth of Christ. Lucifer was considered God's favorite angel. His rebellion was a betrayal to the God who loved him. It is a Christian myth, explaining the reason for evil in the world.

yes, but not before his creation. He was the first born of all creation and used to create everything else. Colossians chapter one, verses sixteen and seventeen.

the lord created the angels before he created man.

by which I presume you mean Jehovah, Yahweh or however one wishes to acknowledge the one true God, only directly created Jesus. Everything else he created through Jesus, Spirit beings first (angels, cherubs etc.) then the physical creation.

we really know.

Yes, the Bible tells us that the angels were witnesses to the creation of the world, which indicates they were created long before that great event. God asked Job, “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation … and all the angels shouted for joy?” (Job 38:4,7).

The important thing, however, isn’t when God created the angels—but why He created them. The Bible tells us that the angels were created for one reason: to do God’s will. To put it another way, they were created to be God’s instruments or agents to carry out His work. (In fact, the word “angel” actually means “messenger” or “agent”.) The Bible says, “Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word” (Psalm 103:20).

Just as the angels are largely unseen by us, so also is their work. I am convinced that when we get to heaven we will be amazed when we discover all the things God did through His angels—including their protection over us in times of danger. (This includes not only physical danger, but moral and spiritual danger, as well.) The Bible says, “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways” (Psalm 91:11).

We aren’t to worship the angels or give them too much attention; Christ alone is the source of our salvation. But thank God for His love for you—a love so deep that He sent His Son to die for your sins, and now sends His angels to watch over you

Isaiah 14:12-17 is another Old Testament passage that may refer to the fall of Lucifer. We must be frank in admitting that some Bible scholars see no reference

Jehovah's witnesses BELIEVE THAT Christ WAS GOD'S FIRST cREATION. But passages in OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT seem to \belie this

What is important is our belief in Christ, whether first before angels or not.

Oh Autumn
Every year you come
I nearly succumb
to you every now and then
as in September
seasons you
strip all nature
why do you

still autumn
all love you
as you is just a cushion
between summer's
warmth
and
winters cold breeze
