Kintsugi is an art

Kintsugi is the art
of mending broken pottery
with gold or silver

Japanese believe that repairing a broken vessel
is more appealing

you seem to apply this Kintsugi
as a metaphor
to unite broken hearts
if so young Aussie
you are really creative
@20
keep at it

there is no point
of being a machine gun poet like me
as Jess another Aussie
bashed me

I understood only
when poetry-wise I had been broken
time and again
makes me now more beautiful
than I originally was.

I believe the poem, Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold- a metaphor for embracing your flaws and imperfections. You won't realize your full potential until you go through the tough times.

Lessons learnt in the poem:
Kintsugi teaches you that your broken places make you stronger and better than ever before. When you think you're broken, you can pick up the pieces, put back together, and learn to embrace the cracks.
