kid man!

Do you all know,
one day yet
to one's birthday
one is a child
and
a day after the 18th birthday
one becomes a man(woman)

now tell me
a crime committed on a day
short of 18
one is dealt with
like one was a kid
and
a day after he cuts the eighteenth slice
he becomes a man

then what is his position
as he cuts the cake
and
pierces his ex

will you treat him
as a man
o tell me
fair man!

If he's cutting the cake he's already there, in my world we don't cut cakes until we are that age so he would be a man in my eyes,

I get the feeling that this was a comment am I right ?
