KICKING IT

KICKING IT

I want to write a poem
that would wow you all
but I have no reason to
I’m in a mood indigo-blue
I awoke to thoughts that
killed my nighttime dreams
and suddenly I fell
into the realities
of my days in hell.
there is not much more
to say
I’m finished. I’m done.
I’m fading away
at warp speed
there is nothing left of me
I’m off my “grid” and ready
to kick it all in
