Inspired by Vincent
I’m in pursuit of a starry sky
If not to vision such beauty
I may as well die
My spirit is free
I’m an owl of the night
Wings spread fiercely
Now taking flight
Dusk pounds my heart
Light winds keeps me steady
holding paint brush tight
now I am ready
Only me
Only I
And the stars
Gliding through air
Blinded by excitement
Whipped by cold
Encouraging me forward
Into the light of a new alba
Out of starlight
and
Into my next painting.

I see the...
starry sky and you bring it into better focus. I like the kind of irregular rhythm to this and the near rhyme feel. I imagine that this is how old Vinnie felt. Nice. ~ Geez.

Dear Geezer
Once again you have gone deep into this infact
You hit the nail on the head, it was more of a ride on the mind of Vincent, my first title was passenger, but I didn't think it would work
Thank you...Teddy

Hi, Teddy,
Very energetic poem, and if I am interpreting correctly, you are painting profusely through the night, encouraged by all the nocturnal elements which bring you to the light of the "new Alba" and your next magnificent masterpiece. "Out of starlight and into my next painting." Love that line! (Do you paint? Seems like you do!)
Thank you!

Dear lavender
What lovely thoughts, I do love painting, I use oil paints but I am, far from talented. I prefer the pen.
This is a ride on the mind of Vincent, I'm so glad you found it.
Thank you...Teddy
