I love you...please

I get a text,
'Have you seen their story' it read,
I said, 'let me check'...
and now i am hoping you're not dead.
I'm crying in the bathroom, sending you text after text...
My sobs rocking my body, as i don't know if death has kissed you yet
My head is filled with drums pounding and pounding and all I feel is pain
My heart clawing its way out of my mouth,
I love you...
I don't know if you can hear me,
But I love you.
She said that she texted your mum and that she's with you now,
But i'm still crying in the bathroom with my heart in my mouth,
I'm screaming to God to help you
So, I could see you again
Even if that means that i'm not your friend.
I love you...
Oh, I love you with something bigger than my heart,
Could it be the cosmos or was it just my head?
I'm hoping that tomorrow I can hug you with all my might,
and tell you that its all going to be alright.
I love you...

This is so beautiful. Lines like "My heart clawing its way out of my mouth", "Oh, I love you with something bigger than my heart" and just "I love you" everywhere, are so powerful. Thank you for sharing this. I love it so much.
(also, how is your friend now?)

Sorry for the late reply I took some time off any kind of social media. She’s doing fine, better I hope.
