I have the nerve and the verve
to admit
that bluntness doesn’t permit,
the safe passage
towards a kingdom
albeit we all wait for one….

no one can be as friendly with you
as you are with some,
nor can you ever be
an integral part of handsome

for you are cussed and obdurate
they say a hard nut to crack,
by anyone
so to say ….

yet you surface as the rock hardened steel
though within you softness you seal
but still you become a victim of machinations
of those guys
who profess to acclaim
to be human
Alas! such is the cruelty index of fate
for some
and
I am such a one.
