The Horizertical Gravitational Entities

Transitions have me weighed down
anchoring me to what’s next.
The “pull” has the internal velocity of a curve-ball,

yet, is as subtle as an insincere glimmer
having trouble appearing from a falsly executed smile.

I guess, they're sort of like an army of horizertical, gravitational entities
that pull down on my very being, and simultaneously hurl me towards the future,
to a place where all we know is, anything can happen!

I am morphing into a shadow myself, using but a springboard in Time’s equation;
to try, and launch the elements that collectively define my essence.

I am becoming merely an echo from the past,
and a sad, reflection of what’s to come.

This can happen all at once,
but sometimes, it can seem to take a fractional lifetime;
and what causes these degrees of horizertical gravitational, time shadows

are my fleeting chances, traces, and missed opportunities
at utilizing hope, luck, fate, serendipity, and tenacity to my benefit.

For these are the surprise elements of time’s arsenal,
and what causes time not to wait for myself,
or anyone else, for that matter.

There can be no true predictions, at this level,
because there are too many under-currents, churning time’s fickle seas.

But, except for one…..and that is,
I can only be betrayed by my own propensity to falsly believe
in the illusion of my own perception, and my even sillier expectations of outcomes, and others.

Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Review Request (Direction):
What did you think of my title?
Is the internal logic consistent?
Last few words:
This used to be a "rant", that I sort of "whittled" down to this. It's probably still, too long. Oh well, doc.

'Horizertical'?? Are you Shakespeare now? Making up your own words? Good on ya!...think there is a word existing that you could use, 'elliptical' gravitational forces?

Way too wordy for my liking, a judicious edit would make this flow better and make your rant about life's curved balls throwing you off kilter much more effective.

( I'm going to use 'Horizertical' and see how long it takes peeps to cotton on...nice one!)

Ells :)

you combining horizontal and vertical
And what was the end result of the read? Confusing
