Hope
What am I?
A home with no hope.
Is this how I'm supposed to be?
I have children, but no one of them could think of me nor remember me.
They have all traveled to a far city
Without my concept,
Who will care for me?
I am a friend of the moon at night,
And an enemy to the sun by day.
The breeze painted me with dust,
And I'm not conscious to mention its color.
My body is too heavy to walk my feet
I'm like a dead being,
I can't leave where I am, I have been glued to the ground, and been surrounded by the grass and flowers of nature.
No difference between me and a caged bird,
Where can my help come from?
Each day, I look up at the sky,
Hoping for my life to change.
Things keep getting worse everyday.
But, there is one thing I know,
And that's the will of my Father.
My doors and windows
Will be open one day.
And my kids will return and remember me.
