Happy New Year Poem

Happy New year
it's twenty twenty
a year of forty four..

another decade of life
to bring things alive
another world to vibe..

it's not who you are
it's who you create
in a era never known..

many years of barbarianism
the darkness ruled
now light is winning..

a new way of thinking
there is war no more
peace to the earth..

love and compassion
found the one percent...

that it is all wishful thinking, but nice to ponder. For some reason, I kept feeling that this was going to break out in rhyme!
It flowed that well, I guess. The sign of a well crafted work.~ Geezer.

I like that this poem espouses the possible good that could come in the year ahead

Like Gee said, sounds like wishful thinking, not the shame of a country that voted in Trump.

I have been unoffically your mentor for over a decade and can attest to your steady increase in control over the language. Barbara, you are magnificent!

cheers,
Jess
