Halloween or not
Ghosts at times
make a plot
to come upon weaker minds
and dance about just to shine

if you go to the loo
at night
in utter darkness
switch on no lights

then when you return
to your bedroom
you will see
layers upon layers of bed-sheets
and
bedding
ghosts you feel

but when you see a distant bulb glowing
you accept all was simple hallucination

ghosts exist still
for feeble minds only
but they do
if you also wish them to

So Happy Halloween
may a million ghosts
visit you
sleep at night
near Ride-lieu
the cemetery
may quickly welcome
