Goth Princess

Black hair parted to an edged obsessive glow
Gothic arch framing an alabaster face
mirrors her vulva captured in tight black pants
Sharp lines
Tight breasts shark edged
Dog collar, Studded
Black, pervasive
Eyes, lips, nails
Standing, legs crossed.
Body shouting a defiant slouch.
A small woman on guard against an intrusive world.
eyes turned out in arresting poise

Thanks for your thoughts on this, French. The muse behind this poem was a small woman I saw one day on a street corner as I was riding a bus. The moment passed quickly but the image stayed with me. The poem is my take on the tableau from her physical description to her imagined persona.

Thanks again,

I have to agree with the above comments I really liked that it felt personal or intimate, I cant see anything that could be changed to improve the poem on a whole this is a really good piece

I look forward to reading more from you
