Forest Tapestry

A gentle breeze,
kiss of leaves,
each branch of the tree,
has it's minuet,
in forest tapestry.

Poplar, pollen, in drapery,
hanging moss,
lichen, so tirelessly.
Bush, tree, weave,
changing forest tapestry.

Raging brook, over flow,
nature changing, texture show.
Rock and stone, carelessly strewn.
Creating a home,
in forest tapestry.

I loved the way you have woven this tapestry using elements which make good tapestry... Though i liked the title which is appropriate for this poem, if it was me I would have used "Wild Tapestry" because of the rich images of the wild you have created. But of course this is a poem from your perspective and vision of looking at things differently... A pleasure read..

A random sequence of sylvan images which is the same way they occur in nature. Welcome to neopoet......stan

anxious to get out there in the forest and wander around. Won't happen for a while yet, but soon the woods will be warm enough and the snow will be gone. I would eliminate the commas at the end of the lines. They are just a distraction The language is good, the title good and I enjoyed the flow of rhyme~ Geezer.

Thank you all for your kind words. It is truly wonderful to be able to live seven doors down from this natural wonderment in the heart of a large city. I walk my dog there and am able to witness the inspiration needed for this poem. It came to me in one sitting, the words just connected and fit like a puzzle. It is one of my favourite pieces and reads well when performed. It is also a piece out of my self-published chap book "The White Chair". Thank you all again.
