Folly To Be Wise
An open and shut case
There’s no need to think
It’s time to replace
The weakest link.
There are interests at stake
There’s no need to explain
It cannot be a mistake
Remember only own pain.
The stronger the might
The more we ordain
The greater our right
To monopolize our gain.

Thank you for your generous response. I had written this poem based on the events some years ago but it is fortunate (for the poem) yet unfortunate (for the large number of persons affected) that the situation still appears relevant.
