Equity

my dream is for the world to be perfect
No violence, no criminals, no blacks, no whites, no Mexicans, no asians, no native Americans, no transgenders, no gays, no straights, no bi’s.
Just humans.

I wish that there would be no depression, no cancer, no insomnia, no thirst, no hunger, no suffering, no illnesses, no autism.
Just health.

I wish there was no religion, no obsesions, no sins, no violence, no death, no after life, no god.
Just peace.

But my dream will always just be that. A dream.
It will only be a dream because we can’t get over the fact that we’re noting.
We can’t get over the fact that we complain that the government is fuckng us over, but we’re not doing anything about it.

We feel sorry for that kid getting bullied at school, but we make fun of him when were with our friends.
We feel bad for that homeless person in the corner asking for something to eat, but we can’t even gift them a smile.
We feel sorry for that girl that committed suicide last month, but you told all your friends that you had sex with her when you really didn’t.

My dream is for the world to be perfect.
But the problem is that were not
So as long we, humans, exist
My dream will not come true.

Yes, the greater evils stem from the daily evils, that is a profound truth in what you say here.
But we can change it.
In any philosophical endeavour don't fall for the most blatant, evil pernicious lie ever perpetrated on humanity- the lie of original sin.
Christianity and the other Ibrahimic religions (Islam and Judaism) lie when they say we are bad and need saving.
Humanity became a dominant species because of our innate care for each other.
It is human conceived, not evolved, ideologies of greed and power that create evil.

I actually have a different mentality ! I think that there is no one, that has ceased to have live in this planet, that is truly evil. just that we have different points of view. this might be because of the way our parents brought us up, or maybe because of the simple fact that we were born into a different culture than the people in our environment. or maybe even just because we went through some experiences that led us to a different conclusion than some other people. regardless of what we believe, we should be able to live a life that makes us happy without hurting anyone else. this poem is simply to raise awareness to not act upon feelings of hatred or revenge. to not waste your energy in the negative part of what life is.

(which I didn't pick on all the typos and grammar).
Nonetheless please give some thought to the notion that humans are born good and can become bad not viceversa.
