ECHOES

ECHOES
I am just passing through
places I have been
to play a note or two
for those gentle
and kind souls who
have captured my heart
and soothed my lonely days…
you have heard my music
and know my voice well,
there were so many things
I had to tell.
but I will soon be stilled
leaving only faint echoes
passing in the wind.

sad
since years
dark poems
lighten your path
like a candle flame in the dark
the longer the tunnel
the more does it last
ere the other end is reached
and
shines your poetry
as we all feel meek
what a poet
still is Joe
never still!
though!!!
when
no one knows
Joe simply grows

with hopes
