August 1st is the Earth Overshoot Day
By when we have consumed more resources
Than Earth can regenerate in its way
More the reason to restrain impulses
Population explosion paramount
Monogamy and not polygamy
Two children limit by any account
No special interest cockamamie
Reduce, recycle, reuse calling card
Water harvesting and conservation
Hydro, wind, solar power the standard
Eco-friendly natural construction
End every colonial aggression
Stop native and ethnic exploitation
Cease all fossil fuel exploration
Clean present human contamination
Ban on all products carcinogenic
No sphere military-industrial
Reversal of all nuclear endemic
Space no place for errors terrestrial
