Disneyland Paris - A Surreal Dream

On holiday at Disney's Parisian dreamland,
I went riding hood on a giant dildo
White as snow, such as Walt meant
Smiling he said: "Such vulva place."

Casual sex with garlicked Goofy in the park
Dimmed lights dim sum afterwards
May the memory be permafrost
And Goofy to me still in his tights.

When Eros twitched his bow
I knee-trembled to a little death
Hot juice dripped ex hot lips
Voice called out: "Do you still vulva?"

I find it offensive and distasteful

I find YOU very offensive and not very bright! If you have nothing sensible to say, you know what to do. Goodbye.

I am given to understand you have complained about me for telling you off after your extremely rude comment. Is that correct? I assume it is, since you have blocked me from sending you a personal message.

I shall now ignore you totally until you retract.

Attacking a poem is OK but to attack a member personally is against the rules. Were I you I'd offer an apology. Not everybody here will ask that the AC be lenient as I did

You appear to have difficulty in understanding English, Stan. Let me re-iterate, I have not "attacked" the person in question. I tried to contact her by personal message. She has blocked me from doing so. So I had no option but to write her here.

I stated that her comment was rude. She wrote "This does not even qualify for poetry n matter the style" adding it was offensive and distasteful - in my book that counts as just plain rude. Stating someone has been rude is by no means an attack, nor is asking for an apology.

May I politely suggest you allow the lady to respond herself rather than inserting yourself into a totally needless argument? Especially since you yourself have made a complaint about something I wrote.
I think I am, again politely, asking you to mind your own business. If you have a gripe with me, just say what it is.

"I find you offensive and not very bright" calling people names is a personal attack. Call their poetry or comment that but don't call the members names. But perhaps I'm wasting my time trying to show you the difference. BTW I'd prefer this exchange had not been in public but since you saw fit to block me I have no other means of trying to help you understand the rules of this site. I am only trying to keep you from getting in trouble.Although your type of poetry isn't my cup of tea I'd prefer you not be suspended or banned.

...for your claimed attempts to assist me.
For the record:-
1. having been told that what I write is offensive and distasteful and lacking in poetry in manner or style is an offensive thing to say. Therefore the commenter has been offensive. Also to indicate not having understood the point of the poem in the slightest is not exactly an indicator of great percipience or intelligence.
2. I unblocked you 3 hours ago - I only did this last night to let you appreciate the frustration this causes. You will understand the reference, I hope.

I propose that we don't comment on each other's postings ever again unless we have something constructive AND either complimentary or pleasant to say. That is probably quite unlikely but, hey, minor miracles might happen.

to call a poem offensive or crude is not the same as saying the writer is the same.....poor thing

...describes something that's a bizarre mix of elements, often jarring and seemingly nonsensical. A poem can be surreal, just as a painting can be. I think that "riding on a dildo" is a VERY surreal image! Also sex with a "garlicked Goofy" is pretty nonsensical.

The poem is intended to portray a weird dream, partially erotic, partially just plain bizarre - as you know, dreams often combine peculiar mismatched elements.

Best wishes

I have no wish to "go to war" with anyone and I am perfectly happy to end the spat as of now. I agree that everyone has a right to their own opinion, but I think that insulting something someone has written is a step too far, which is why I have not (as far as I can recall) never done so at this site. Stating a piece is without merit or style etc etc is simply rude.

Best wishes and thank you for your sensible remarks.
