Creative Construction (Cast in Stone?)

Gravel can turn into mounds of destruction
Stones can join to form halls of instruction
Pebbles can turn into sources of obstruction
Rocks can become monuments of distinction.

Mortar used for purposes malign or benign
Masonry used to block out or to refine
Cement is putty in the hands that realign
Based on what is in the architect's design.

Last few words:
Will not attempt to deconstruct my constructive poem.

he created for no good and the good bombed it all and blew much of it flat
as should be...
the berlin wall came down
ovens were taken down
but beautiful monuments went up
craftsmen who loved Hiram
built pryamids
something man can be proud of
and towers to watch out or broadcast
from...Like effiels tower
okay that one was steel
or the wall of china to protect its people
Hadrians to protect the romans
and our cities of greatness
like Dubai
or Jerusalem
the beautiful Moscow

I mixed cement...poured concrete
for water treatment plants
helped build chimneys for
palatial homes in Muskoka
knew of stone masons
plying the trade for the super elite
and wealthy
fireplaces for an enduring
family to gather round
making memories..

so much..we owe too the talents
who work with the raw materials
and bring forth the wealth
of construction and longevity
for ritual and enjoyment
the majesty of man

thank U!
