Count (a challenge)

Count
I am ONE
with the night.
blending in
when the world
retreats into
artificial light,
often seen couples
pairings of TWO
glide on the dance floor
to a love song
in a time and place
they never knew.
weave in some magick
as you meet the THREE,
the Maiden, the Mother
and finally the Crone
conjuring at the crossroads
as it has always meant to be.
North, West, East and South
are the FOUR corners
to be faced and do honor.
as each has a connection
with Air, Earth, Water and Fire.
to pay my respect,
in reverence
is my greatest desire.
FIVE points
of the pentagram
and pentacle star
of religions old
as I have read
and from great aunt
been told.

Your title is good, your language use is as well.
I liked the pace, and the rhythm was fine, it marched right along
with the theme. I'm thinking that this write has not only to do with numbers,
but with a spell or homage to Mother Earth. I think that soon, in the future,
I will try my hand at doing one with numbers too. ~ Geez.
