Composure

She stood there still
mind numb
No way to move her legs
nor, her arms
Trapped
In her everlasting sorrow
she always knew
it would be her downfall
Until
the day came

That she finally awoke
from her own thoughts
Bouncing
off the soft clouds
as she floats down softly
she can feel the ground
beneath her feet
because
once more
she is finally home.

Why thank you Sir. You are always so kind. I actually edited this a lot, I wrote it on the bus yesterday. Those 1 hour rides sometimes turn out to be useful! X

Hello, Teddy,
Your title brought me in. I feel the struggle, the tension, and then the wonderful composure!
Thank you,
