Can't Stop
.
I don't want to start a new poem
I've nothing yet to say
like making love more than once
one must rest between bouts
a gestation period, if you will
and I finished a write just moments ago
but I can't wait!
my hand trembles in anticipation
I can't seem to help myself
my pen keeps on writing
I don't seem to care that
nothing of value or import is written
small talk, pillow talk,
baby talk, crazy talk,
nonsense, on and on
etc.forever
I adore writing too much
to stop pawing
at my muse's vivacious,
gracious pompons
groveling at her feet
again and again
pleading "more! more! more!
I want more!!"

your title
conveys sexiness
no one can stop half way
but then
i was off the mark anyway
hope you continue to write titles
as attractive anyway
still inur own unique way!!!!

can't stop
A poem about nothing ain't the easiest thing to write, but the last 2 lines lack impact. Hmmmm........I just realized this could well be intentional..........scribbler

brittle
LOL.
I like this.
I have notebooks, journals, folders and computer drives filled with drivel, doggerel, random thoughts, ideas and silly crap no one else will ever see because dammit, I cannot stop writing. It becomes an obsession, an addiction, and you capture it so well, with this.
I don't think there is any personal writing that is useless or without value: practice makes perfect, after all. I can return, sometimes months later, to stuff I've written that at the time of writing had no value to me, and often I find things that fit into what I am currently working on.
Only crit I have...muses...muse's...?
