Campaign Sign

Down dirty street
swept around, filthy whore.
You're really something huh?
Campaign litter!

Street-side rivals
stand over tossed cans,
ciggy butts, broken nip glass,
oil grass rot - disgusting.
Clean up leftovers, ass!

Burn rubber I do,
right over you,
red white and blue,
hypocrite true.

Picture looking sane.
Behind all lies
come stormy skies.
Never fooling anyone,
dread ahead.
Millions scream;
fungus toed junkie!

Nobody desires to miss
smashing your face - bliss.
Under breath utters; you shit!
Into gutter amiss,
dogs take their piss.

Who shall it be?
Certainly not me.
Collecting your trash
takes public cash,
prevent a crash.
Enjoy private orgies
your winning bash!
Smash, smash, DOA.

How does this theme appeal to you?
Is the internal logic consistent?

and it says loads about our political system, which was meant to serve all of us, not just those people that seek fame and fortune. I like the rhyme that follows the erratic tempo; it makes the theme seem all the more jagged and edgy. The last line really got me! I had the thought that; yes, they were dead on arrival, they never intended to keep any promises, they just made them in order to get elected~ Gee.

Just as you say campaign signs are a joke. Trashed after the elections and city expected to pick up that trash. Did you ever vote for someone after seeing one of those signs. I never did. They speak of hypocrisy and worn out gestures of who has the most money. The dogs make the right response to those hypocritical red white and blue signs. Wouldn't you just love to run over one with the car.
Says a lot Mark keep them off the street and out of office!
