Blind No More

I sought for friendship and what did I find?
Masks of hypocriscy dancing before my eyes

I have missed out on all the signs,
the smiles and laughter adding up to lies

They came to me when life is full of fun,
only to hide when I'm sinking in deep shit

When I have survived the aches of despair,
they return to me with loads of bullshits

I have learnt my lessons about true friendship
it cannot be bought with dollars and cents

As I gained wisdom from experience,
my views changes to make better sense

To the hypocrites who leave me to bleed,
I'll say your acting have become a bore

I am leaving you behind
'cos I am blind no more

Style / type:

Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Review Request (Direction):
What did you think of my title?
How was my language use?
What did you think of the rhythm or pattern or pacing?
How does this theme appeal to you?
How was the beginning/ending of the poem?
Is the internal logic consistent?
Editing stage:

blind no more sums it up well. I have put those hypocritical friendships in the back of my mind as a non relevant cause for concern. great flow and the tone is clear. fake friends left behind.

Thank you. I wrote this to let go of some irritating friends who have pissed me off recently. I'm closing the door on them and saying "Good riddance!" ;)

In this life we rarely find what I would call a proper friend.
I have met people in all walks of life and as I write this I am scanning my past and present to find my true friends, this is a hard task, as there are none that spring to mind as being permanent.
A true friend has to be loved and cherished for all they are and they must reciprocate without a thought of what they are doing.
Soul mates are these people but even then they are as a candles flame, flickering in the slightest draft.
Rule one learn to love yourself, then as you travel life's pathways there sometimes you will find a person that is as you are then you can love them as a proper friend .

There are a million reasons to believe in yourself,
So find more reasons to believe in others..
