From the beginning

From birth
I gazed at a world
through your eyes,
colours more vibrant
flowers intensely fragrant
music encompassed
my soul with joy.

Teaching from birth
and being taught,
to be your mother
loving a quartet
like no other.

Forever's of infinity
can never erase,
the infinite bond
that binds

A thousand nights
can never darken,
the bliss of a breathe
I first felt inside

When I am no more
my love will remain free,
in the stars and moons
light's in my blood line

---

I was blessed then
as I am now.

There is no greater blessing than mother-hood. You have raised your children and now they will carry your blood line on. After we are gone, there are only the children we have brought into the world and they will carry the memories of us to their children. That way we never really die.
