Because I can

If god could do anything he would,
if he does do anything he's a cunt.
A worthless,
piece of shit.

Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Last few words:
Really, am I going to get struck down by lightning? Will anyone who irrationally still believes be offended by my potty mouth?
Editing stage:

I see now....
we have our words
the corner the floor
this is where we craft
and hone through
works guided prodded
and kicked
lulled and allured
drama and dread

a lot of people emote this
and feel this...

in this short work
I see that you have
condensed it all

i once was lost
it took an older
guide to tell me
to watch movies
there is a beginning
and a middle
and an ending

i didnt know that
i was befuddled

I like this work
it has a power and
a voice that reaches
with its word use
its tone

I am learning poetry
I am learning
to express
and to read

anew again

Thank You!

If he should smote you I shall still give you unconditional love,
this will hold you up for ever and a day.
Enough of this shit about beliefs it is fine that you don't believe in such things.
Now stop wasting precious time on a rant about something that is not real or proven.
I know I have a go at you when you rant at a poet, but I aint wasting my time on this one, as it is not what people believe, it is what they are that matters.
You can stand proud as the next guy as to what you have done, when your thinking head is on, to hell with this crap, how many times have I got to tell you.
Now you go hide under a table and hope he or she doesn't exist lol, if he summons you just mention my name Jack Sparrow he will probably not know me.
Anyway enough of this crap, answer your bloody PM's and let me know how things are.
Take care young Jess, and good luck under the table, Yours Ian.T

" is not what people believe, it is what they are that matters." for me, these words ring true.

once we can see accept this...rather then the limitations of expectations and assumptions
a true statement..

And in many ways that is true. I perceive the ways in which religions and even personal spiritual beliefs affect people's clarity of thinking and political biasses and it really upsets me. I talked with a person on Facebook the other day who claimed that mathematics was the work of the devil. Yes really! Through conversations I have realised she is not stupid, quite an effective wordcrafter, but really!

And it is not just zealots like that. Without exception the people I know, know of or or know anything about who hold theistic beliefs are more socially and politically more conservative.

So my responses are not evangelistic, they are political activism.

Great to see you here, and what's this an atheist evangelist, crumbs that is like asking the pope to go out as a missionary..
Good to see a logic in there where you express that some subjects just don't mix.
Take our politicians, (Yes Just Take Them) the ones in power, they have a strange sort of logic where running a country should be done from the playing fields of Eaton.
It's like a rich communism, then you have the others that think they would be better off as communists, it's the same as you say about religion.
My uncle lays there in a grave in Jerusalem and after 100 years can still hear the gunfire of war, yet he died in the war to end all wars.
What a world we inhabit, it is the same as the religions or so called religions, no wonder the garden of Eden that they assume was in todays Iraq, is covered by a desert seems like a good idea.
Anyway that will do for a quiet rant, good to see you, just answer the odd PM if you have the time.
Yours as always, Ian

God is mans excuse for his own evil, we blame our horrible actions on a myth. And you've nailed it, not to a symbolic cross i might add. Regards Roscoe...

Roscoe Llane,

Religion will rip your faith off, and return
for the mask of disbelief that's left.
